Our 2017 year has been an exciting whirlwind of activity, from our conference hosted in downtown Carlisle where preservationists gathered for education and collaboration -- field visits across the state and free advice via phone -- workshops on design guidelines -- and important At Risk work that included testimony at public hearings, meeting with local townships and more.
We've got a lot of important work to do in 2018 and we need your support!
Our focus is on advocacy, education and assistance. As you may know, the Federal Historic Preservation Tax Credit is in grave danger and we are working hard now to make sure this important tool isn't abandoned in tax reform.
We are excited to launch a series of education day events in the spring and summer of 2018 to bring practical preservation conversations and solutions to the table.
Our 2018 At Risk List is in the process of being selected; these properties will become our work priority for technical assistance in 2018.
And we'll be launching a new website with a renewed focus on providing Pennsylvanians with the assistance and resources they can use to plan, protect and preserve.
Please consider supporting our work with a tax-deductible donation so that we can continue to advocate for the preservation and protection of historic places. Thank you for your consideration and time. Every gift makes a difference.
